Join us Sunday, December 3rd, at 4pm for a Spanish-Influenced cocktail hour and 4 course dinner with menu prepared by Blooming Hill's Executive Chef Rob Zwirz and wine pairing by sommelier and wine specialist Ray Ankton of Bronxville Wine & Spirits.

Menu (to be announced) will incorporate produce from the farm and draw on Spanish style and cooking techniques and has been designed to pair with wines selected from across Spain. Wines featured will include selections from winemaker Jorge Ordonez- AlbariƱo and Muscat varieties- as well as a wine from the famous Jumilla region of Spain, which is home to some of the oldest grape vines in the world (some of the only vines in Europe that were not destroyed by the 1800's Phylloxera epidemic). Possibly Spain's most well-known wine, Rioja, from the producer Muga, will also be featured for the entree course in addition to Corpinnat sparkling wine during the cocktail hour.

We're welcoming Ray Ankton from Bronxville Wine Shop to take us on a trip into the world of Spanish wines. Ray Ankton's vast wine knowledge has been heavily influenced by his work with iconic producers and winemakers in wine regions throughout the world. His travels in Argentina, Chile, Spain, France, Italy, and the Pacific Northwest have allowed him to use that knowledge and experience to help his clients take their own wine journeys through incredible bottles without ever needing to stamp their passport.
