I remembered seeing pics of the farm and thinking it looked cool, but visiting in person last August was a game changer. It's so magical in person - beautiful blooms everywhere, the little babbling brook, the dreamy cocktail barn, the general views. My partner, who was in London at the time, had joined via FaceTime and even over the phone he knew immediately after that it was the one. We knew we wanted to get married when the farm was exactly as we saw it, so did our wedding toward the end of August. We lucked out with absolutely beautiful weather and it made for an unforgettable day.

In addition to loving on the space ('gorgeous' was used a lot), our guests couldn't stop raving about the food (no surprises here, BHF is a working farm with a popular farm-to-table restaurant). Without a doubt, the best wedding food we've ever had. The tasting was a highlight :) In addition to all of this, rather than having to separately source and pay a kajillion dollars for all of the linens, tables, etc, this is all included and BHF works with you to execute your vision to a T. The reception tent was sneakily one of the most beautiful parts of our wedding day - I couldn't stop ogling everything. Special shoutout to Nadine, BHF's florist who worked with our non-existent knowledge of flowers and delivered an absolute dream setting.

Finally, I've fully been burying the lead because on top of all this, the ultimate perk of doing your wedding at Blooming Hill Farm is you get to work with a coordinator like our girl Kate - who we are still not ready to say goodbye to. While we experienced light concern from a few folks over not hiring a planner, with Kate we never needed one. From the venue tour to detailed planning sessions to literally cueing us all down the aisle, she held our hand every step of the way and managed to be equally warm and fun while supremely on top of her shit (and ensuring we were on top of ours). She over delivered in the way a stereotypically Type A wedding planner would, while managing to be...chill?! It truly felt like working with a friend. (WE LOVE YOU, KATE, PLEASE CALL US WHEN YOU'RE IN BROOKLYN?!?) The rest of the staff were also so notably warm, wonderful and on point as well. Truly, if there was a way to Black Mirror ourselves and relive this day over and over, we definitely would. Please have your wedding here, ok?

When we were figuring out how to make our wedding feel uniquely “us,” we knew Blooming Hill Farm had to be part of our special day in the Hudson Valley, and it was truly magical. We will sing the praises of the exceptional farm-fresh food, Justin’s impressive beverage selection, the enchanting setting of the barn, grounds, and tent all day, but what we want to highlight for prospective brides and grooms is the incredible hospitality, professionalism, care, and organizational skills of Caitlin and her events team. Caitlin boasts an impressive resume from the food and hospitality industry, and her expertise was evident from the start of our wedding planning process. Thanks to her prompt communications, check in calls, a holy grail of all Google sheets, and attention to detail, we trusted her implicitly throughout the process and had no doubt she would give us a perfect wedding. We had some unique elements to our wedding (e.g. an off-site ceremony, wedding cake piñata, and only 6 months of planning time) and many allergies and dietary restrictions to accommodate, all which Caitlin navigated seamlessly for us. Caitlin and the entire BHF team absolutely delivered the wedding of our dreams, and a week later I tear up with joy just thinking about it. Know that at Blooming Hill Farm you will feel so taken care of throughout the entire planning process and on your wedding day. Blooming Hill is unique and wonderful in that they provide so many items and services that are typically a la carte and not included at other venues: all tableware, food and beverage, an incredible tent with a built-in deck, decorated cocktail hour space, service staff, event set up, signage, table decor, and day-of-coordination services are part of all their packages. They can even coordinate with a brilliant in-house florist for you at a very reasonable additional cost (thank you for our gorgeous flowers, Nadine!). The entire staff is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and will give you an incredible day no matter what. You will be in the best hands in the biz for the best day of your life. If you are looking to host your outdoor wedding in the Hudson Valley, do yourself a favor: stop your search, and book Blooming Hill Farm!

At the very start, they created a BEAUTIFUL google sheets wedding planning document that housed all the information we would need to keep track of for the wedding. It had links of their referred vendors, photos, and resources. It was the homebase for our vendor information, food selections, what to prepare for prior to each planning check in. Included planning milestones (when they recommend doing what), and homebase for your ceremony details. I could go on. For both Type A and B brides, this document is a godsend.

Everything that is included within the venue price is so worth it. Their inhouse decor is amazing, they have everything you can think of and most of it does not incur additional fee's, their white sail tent is beautiful (and included!!!)

The food.. THE FOOD!! Everyone came up to us after stressing how good the food was (and we had a 140 person wedding). Everyone said it was not your standard wedding food in the best way. It was the same quality and flavor that we had during our tasting.

Last but definitely not least - our dedicated planner, Kate, was a literal rock star. She was so kind, easy to work with. She made herself available for any questions and handled comms with our final vendors to confirm the day of logistics. We didn't hire an external planner and I still stand by that decision because Kate and her team were just so organized and on top of things. There was of course a last minute (3 days before) issue with one of our shuttles canceling on us. It was not Kate's responsibility to help us fix the issue, but she did anyway. She went above and beyond and pulled strings on her side through all the contacts she knew to try and find replacement shuttles so that our guests weren't left without transportation. We cannot stress enough how helpful she was during those stressful few days.

10 out of 5 stars. I have no desire to plan a wedding again, but if I did I would do it at Blooming Hill Farm all over again.

We instantly fell in love with the beautifully curated, elegant farm setting. From the back field ceremony locations to the gorgeous white canvas, wooden-beam tent (and everything in between!), it was pure magic.

We actually said yes to BHF without even trying the food first—and wow, we are still getting compliments on it from guests almost a year later! The fresh, farm-to-table dishes were absolutely unforgettable. The Staff: We were so lucky to work with Kate as our point person. Wow—she was outstanding. Having worked in the wedding industry myself, I know how rare it is to find someone like her. The attention, care, and professionalism she brought before, during, and even after our wedding was such a relief. From countless emails and planning meetings to the weekend-of setup, Kate and her team handled everything with ease. She made our day so smooth and peaceful—I truly couldn’t imagine working with anyone else. As a very DIY bride, I came in with lots of personal touches—guest book, memorial table, reception centerpieces, and more. Kate didn’t miss a beat. She and her team set everything up beautifully and brought my vision to life with so much care and thoughtfulness. I knew once I handed everything over, it was in the best possible hands. Our day was perfect. I know so many people say that, but I wholeheartedly believe Kate and the BHF team played a huge role in making it so. I cannot recommend Blooming Hill Farm, the team, and especially Kate enough!
